The Hindrances to True Prayer, Part 4 (TPMD Bus 2 – #619)

TODAY’S POEM: “Grace to Pray” by Daniella Whyte

Our prayer motivator passage from the Word of God today is Nehemiah 1:10-11 which reads: “Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.”

Our featured prayer motivator quote is from Billy Graham. He said: “To get nations back on their feet, we must first get down on our knees.”

My personal encouragement for you today is this: No matter how long it takes to pray, no matter how difficult it is to pray, praying to God is the most important thing you can do in your day. It should be the #1 priority above everything else you have to do.

Our prayer motivator devotional today is titled “THE HINDRANCES TO TRUE PRAYER” part 4 from the book, “Purpose in Prayer” by E.M. Bounds.
