The Prayer Motivator Minute #821

14 Jan

Rick Warren said, “The more you pray, the less you’ll panic. The more you worship, the less you worry. You’ll feel more patient and less pressured.”

Our prayer motivator verse from the Word of God today is James 5:13-15 which reads: “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”

Our prayer motivator quote today is from J. Oswald Sanders. He said, “If done as God wants, then leadership will surely include intercessory prayer. The saintly Bishop Azariah of India once remarked that he found time to pray daily, by name, for every leader in his extensive diocese. Little wonder that during his thirty years of leadership there, the diocese tripled its membership and greatly increased in spiritual effectiveness.”
